Bye bye Malaysia Tatler

Today happens to be my last day in Tatler.
It feels like I've only joined not long ago!
I kinda miss the job, the environment, the food, the place where I get my loot of past issues international mags, my scenic view from 19th floor, my spacious & cozy work area, my powerful Mac G5 & even my 3 tier cupboard!
Most of all I will miss my colleagues... I have made some good friends there and it's kinda sad that it only happens for a short time of period.
Sob, sob....so emo, keep in touch!

As a tradition, anyone who leaves the company sends a farewell email on the last day, so here's mine.

Dear friends & comrades,
This is a note which I knew I would have to write someday, although it never crossed my mind when.

It seems like minutes rather than a year since I first stepped into Tatler. How time flies :)
I have truly enjoyed my tenure here with everyone and I appreciate having had the opportunity to work with you all.

Each of you are truly a gem & a great honor to work with.
One year & five months after, I take with me a plethora of experiences and memories.
To those who I have held a great relationship with, I will miss being your co-worker and will cherish our history together.
Thank you all for the guidance, support, laughter, and companionship you have provided me.
You have all enriched my life in different ways and I wish you individually and collectively the best of health, happiness and success in the future.

Crammed and trammed

I have decided to hate the KTM train.
It made me wait for effing 1 hour + and running damn late for work.
I usually doesn't take KTM. Since mom on leave today... I am forced to. Dang.
It is usually crammed with ugly people too. Yes! I must complain bout that too!

Okay, here's a scenario... since I'm so imaginative like that.

Woman A: Could you please move in, I am jammed in the door.
Woman B: No.
Woman A: What do you mean no?
Woman B: Well, it's a bit f**king hard, that guy's arse is pressed against mine and any further in my LV bag (fake one?) will be squashed!!

Everyday Minerals

While the mineral makeup madness is reaching to Malaysia's shores, it has already been in the US for some time back. The brands that has mineral makeup line now in Malaysia is still very limited tho'.

I come across Everyday Minerals in some forums. They provide free samples of 3 foundation, 1 concealer & 1 blusher, so what the heck, I ordered it right away. I did my research alright, and most of it is good. So I ordered my sample kit & throw in a kabuki brush. You only need to pay the shipping fees for the sample kit which only cost USD5.99 (about RM20?). Okay what right?!

This how their sample kit looks like...can't turn it over coz' I had already finished using em'.
Haha . Aren't they cute??

So I decided to order another batch..full size! If you order their custom kits, you can save up to 57%!! Damn good deal huh!

I am EXTREMELY impressed with the speed of service- I ordered on Wed night and the package arrived next week Tues. 7 days only! Awesome!

I have found my holy grail! Not only it makes my makeup look natural, it lasted all day too!! I don't blot as often anymore coz there's nothing to blot! haha...me love! \(^o\) (/o^)/

Oh, I also have their Long Handled Kabuki & New Flat Top brush. Damn soft! Definitely worth getting them. Cheap at price but high in quality. I also bought Pressed Powder in Fair Pink. Haven't try it yet. Will order another batch ( Im such an addict!) & I'll be doing some swatches so you can see what it's like on skin.

According to the Everyday Minerals website, "Everyday Minerals contains only 4 inert ingredients: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides, and Zinc Oxide. This is 100% all natural mineral makeup - Free from oils, preservatives, fragrance, talc, and all other binders that cause skin irritation." So apparently it does not contain talc or bismuth oxychloride.

This is the album that has been blasting in my home computer, my office itunes & my handphone everyday since it's out till now! I even changed my ringtone to "Touch My Body" muahaha. This album is damn nice... a flirty, fun, emo, relaxed kinda album. Kudos to MC! Really salute this woman ya know, she can hit eight-octave notes, writes & produces all her songs, mutters a million words in one verse & she lose some weight too! Now, she's looking hotter than eva! Me lovelovelove MC!!

ps: The album name means "(E) Emancipation (=) equals (MC) Mariah Carey (²) to the second power". This is the sequel to her 2005 album, The Emancipation of Mimi.
