Toc Toc Mascara

Toc Toc Swing Touch - Magical Length & Volume Lash (again, the long title...)

Description
Mega volume and extreme length with just a few sweeps, this glossy non-drying formula does not clump, is smudge-free and removes easily with soap and water. This unique packaging has a see through window to reveal how much formula is on your wand.

Price RM 59.90

Advantages
  • The separate formula is in the wand itself, so it doesn't dry out quick
  • Can be quite long lasting, you only need to dispense a little
  • Lengthen and voluminous lashes by approx 5 sweeps - looks natural, not dramatic
  • Doesn't clump
  • Decent brush
  • Easy to remove
  • Waterproof
Disadvantages
  • Not a quick drying formula, as a result, when I blink (after waiting for good 30secs), a mess!
  • At the end of the day (after about 6 hours) I notice some slight smudges
Recommended? Not really, the slow drying part is a big turn off, this mascara has been deserted and replaced by my fav Estee Lauder mascara (love!).

Toc Toc Illuminator/Blusher

Toc Toc Glowing Cheeks Face Illuminator - Rasberry ( I wonder why they doesn't just name it blusher??)

Description
A highlighting all-over face colour that brightens up the skin, giving it a healthy out-of-the-shower glow. Light reflecting pearlescent pigments give bone structure 3D definition and dimension without the greasy shine.

Price RM 36.90

Advantages
  • It really does what it claims! Sheer and buildable, perfect for face highlighting.
  • Gives you that just-been-pinched kinda cheeks.
  • Quite long lasting.
  • A pretty good brush.

Disadvantages
  • Ugly packaging?

Recommended? Totally!

Toc Toc BB Cream

Toc Toc Whitening & Wrinkle Repair Blemish Balm Tinted Cream - High Coverage, SPF 30 *fuh, quite a mouthful*

Description
A skin-caring moisturizer with UVA/UVB protection, this lightweight cream contains arbutin and adenosine to lighten pigmentation, plump up wrinkles and fine lines, calm and soothe redness and inflammation, foster cell repair, and strengthen skin's elasticity and immaturity to environmental aggressors. The nude tint has higher coverage on darker pigments and blemishes and instantly brightens dull complexions with a clear-skin finish.

Price RM 59.90

Advantages
  • At 1st I was worried that I would look ghastly in this because of it's grayish pigment but surprisingly it's pretty natural on skin.
  • Breeze application because of it's gel-like formula.
  • Good oil-control given if you use primer or make up base before the BB cream.
  • Gives a pretty natural look unlike Gowoonsesang that I've tested on which is quite thick and murky.
  • Not sure bout' all the goodness it claims, but so far I have not break out at all while using this.
Disdvantages
  • Quite sheer, you need concealer to cover redness & dark circles.
Recommended? Yeap

Buff'd Cosmetics

It's been a while since I've done some girly review!
Here are some Buff'd Cosmetics samples which I ordered ages ago.
After a month long of anticipation and no mail in sight I emailed their customer service about it.
Apparently my loot got lost in the mail but the kind Jennifer from Buff'd mailed me back again what I've ordered.
O yeah, I ordered from SheSpace also. No luck on that one... they got lost in the mail too, wtf! but Heather prefer to send me back my cash instead. So no piggies for me to play with :(
Oh well, I swatched the Buff'd samples that I've ordered.

They came in this lil' ziplock baggies.
10grams for all foundations (all in concealing formula), 4 grams for that 'Mint' color corrector, 4 grams 'Coral' mineral setting powder and 3 grams for 'Bouquet' mineral blush. (setting powder & blush are free! me love free stuff ^^) click for larger view

I think I have my match in Wool & Sungrass or maybe I should mix this 2 up and see what new shade I can get :D
They are pretty concealing and waterproof!! I tried to wash these stuff with water from my wrist and it just stay put!! Not bad aye!
The mineral setting powder, Coral, is not for me. I don't like orangey stuff, they made me look.... weird.
The Bouquet blush is so pretty! I love pinks and it contains silvery shimmer too.

I also have tons of other new stuff that I 'should' review on? OMG why am I so lazy???

My mum & I just received our Mineral Silk loot today!!

Kinda disapointed coz my Sahara eyeshadow sample, Mineral Makeup Brush Kit and a Full Size Satin Finishing Powder are all missing??!!!
Mom's gonna email them tomorrow.
How can they missed it out??

The samples potion are like damn friggin' little lor.
I know it is stated 1/4 and 1/8 teaspoon but
I don't know how much that is?
Compared to Everyday Minerals samples... this one is definitely very stingy.
Have to pay for it summore.
Anyway, their little pots are winner! Like little ices... so cute.

Origins

Some of my many hauls from my previous trip to HK which I luvluvluv!

Modern Friction
Nature's gentle dermabrasion

Description: Skin-refining Rice Starch, cushioned in cream, shows real affinity for rapidly removing sluggish cells, uneven patches and signs of skin damage and discolorations. Lemon Oil kick starts the process of illumination. Another age-sweeping action: skin-menacing molecules are mopped up. All while Aloe keeps skin calm and comfy. There’s no ouch, extra steps or other complications. No redness or flaking follows. The before-and-afters are amazing. Signs of fine lines and size of pores appear to shrink in size. Skin looks perfectly polished, smooth and luminous. And the perk-me-up aromas of Bergamot and Peppermint help you look on the bright side.
Price: HKD350 ( about RM 153) | 4 oz./125ml
Me thinks: It has a gummy and pasty texture. This is not those typical watery kinda scrub, so you don't need a lot. Just a dollop is enough to cover the whole face. This whole jar can last you up to 6 months! (Given if you use it 3 times a week). My skin do feel smoother & polished after the massage. However, be careful & keep it out of your eyes, it stings a lot! Love the smell, totally refreshing!

Never A Dull Moment
Skin-brightening face polisher with fruit enzymes

Description: When top layers of cells are evenly aligned, skin reflects light, shows a youthful glow. But over time, cells become sluggish and ragged. Light scatters. The result is strictly dullsville. Finely ground Apricot and Mango seeds plus nature’s potent extract from Papaya , dissolves lackluster skin cells and gobbles them up with no irritating friction and polishes skin to perfection. Skin beams with youthful exuberance. Looks radiant, innocent, untarnished by time or the elements.
Price: n/a
Me thinks: It has a very pleasant fragrant, just like fresh apricots. It contains fruits enzymes, so after scrubbing I'll leave it on for 15mins... thinking that my skin would benefit from it? *Eat up skin!* This is a non-harsh kinda scrub, ideal for all skin types. After washing it away, skin feels moisturized.

Clear Improvement
Active charcoal mask to clear pores

Description: When environmental toxins, dirt and debris get under your skin, its waste-filtering system gets jammed, pores get clogged, skin looks cloudy. Nature’s complexion clean-up crew gets to the bottom of skins overcast condition and clears the way for it to act its best. Activated Charcoal acts like a magnet to draw out deep-dwelling pore-cloggers, White China Clay absorbs environmental toxins, Lecithin dissolves impurities. Without all that “stuff” down there, skin “breathes a sigh of relief.”
Price: HKD180 (about RM 78..but they sold it RM 95 in Malaysia!) | 100ml
Me thinks: It's like a vacuum!! Totally love this, makes me think that it sucks up all the impurities from my pores! haha! Those who are with oily face plus blackheads should stock up on this! Don't leave it on for too long tho' or it will suck up all of your face moisture. Face will feel slightly taut after wash. I usually follow up with a moisture pack mask. I'll slab on Drink up to replenish face moisture.

Drink Up
10 minute mask to quench skin's thirst

Description: When skin faces a marathon of dehydrating circumstances, fluid levels can run too low. The steady sips of moisture that sustain it under normal conditions simply don’t hold water. Smoothness evaporates. Skin feels tight and flaky. What it needs is a great big gulp. It’s all you can drink as nature’s cocktail of caretakers drown dry skin’s sorrows. Thirst-quenching Algae Extracts deliver an extra helping of hydration while emollient-rich Apricot Kernel Oil acts like a “fountain of youth”. Feel skin drink in the softness, lap up the luxury.
Price: HKD180 (about RM 78..but they sold it RM 95 in Malaysia!) | 100ml
Me thinks: It gives dry skin an extra helping of hydration. Revives radiance. Thick texture and not watery. Again, it is so thick that you only need a dollop for the whole face. Cash saver! The instruction says to leave on for 10 mins but I leave it on for a whole 30 mins! No harm right? Since it is oh-so-moisturizing!

Out of Trouble
10 minute mask to rescue problem skin

Description: When skin is too-slick or when more pressing problems start to pop up, it’s Origins to the rescue to keep skin out of trouble. Nature’s trouble-shooters, including super-absorbent Zinc Oxide and Sulfur, calming Camphor plus skin-sloughing Salicylic Acid, rapidly respond to problem skin’s plight with a three-part plan - sop up oily-shine, slough off sticky, dead cells, and sweep away irksome debris. Together they steer skin clear of slippery situations, refine rough texture and pull the plug on troublemakers to oust potential outbursts.
Price: HKD180 (about RM 78..but they sold it RM 95 in Malaysia!) | 100ml
Me thinks: Out of trouble indeed!! Zits decided to party underneath along my jawline all the time... So, I applied this baby to my zits, and voila! less inflammation! It has a strong sulfur odor though which is not bad since it's doing its job to zap my volcanic zits! Haha

Thats all of my Origins stuff for now... Cheerios!
